PURPOSE

The H.R. MacMillan Space Centre is a museum hosting a variety of shows. In this student project I gave them a full brand identity, including a logo, advertising, signage, and merchandise.

STRATEGY

I chose to rebrand the space centre as they lack a cohesive brand identity. This new brand identity will help them better achieve their vision: β€œTo help everyone, young and old, feel the joy of discovery, and allow them to experience the cosmos without leaving Earth.”

I have also created a series of advertisements, promoting both the space centre itself as well as specific shows at the planetarium.

The logo of the space centre is a combination of several elements. The overall shape of the dome evokes the inside of the planetarium theatre, one of our main attractions. The globe on the inside shows the earth, as well as other celestial bodies. Brought together, they form the shape of an eye looking upwards towards space.
